Pina Colada was created in San Juan Puerto Rico in the 1960’s by a bartender that served this new authentic drink for 35 years and finally was awarded for his efforts making this delicious drink Puerto Rico’s national drink. It is so easy to make and so delicious that you will have your family and friends asking for more! I prepare it without alcohol.
1 can (14 oz) of Coconut milk
1 perfectly ripe fresh pineapple or if you want to make it the easy way just use 2 cans (14 oz each) of Pineapple juice
1 cup of Condensed milk (add more or less depending on your sweet taste)
Add all ingredients to a blender, blend for 3 to 4 minutes, serve immediately.
If your choice is using a fresh pineapple make sure you cut around the core and use the tender juicy part, cut it into pieces and add all the ingredients in a blender, blend for 3 to 4 minutes, string, serve immediately.
